Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort invites you to explore the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, the largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. The reserve became a biosphere reserve in 1989. Your journey begins at 8:30 AM from Kolkata. Upon arriving at Godkhali Jetty, board the boat and travel through the Gomor and Durgadhwani rivers to reach the Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort, located on the banks of the River Pitchkhali, overlooking the reserve.

At the resort, enjoy a hot lunch before heading to Bird’s Island and Sunset Point. Return to the resort for evening tea and snacks, followed by a traditional Adivasi Jhumur dance performed by the tribal people of the Sundarbans. Dinner will be served at 9:00 PM.

After breakfast, report to Jetty Ghat at 8:30 AM for an exciting cruise to the Sajnekhali Watchtower and the Mangrove Interpretation Centre. Proceed on a deep jungle safari through creeks, dense forests, and various rivers, including Sarakkhali 1, Sudhanyakhali, Bonbibi Bharani, Sunderkhali, and Pirkhali. During the safari, you may spot deer, water monitor lizards, monkeys, wild boars, crocodiles, and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Enjoy lunch on the boat or at the resort.

In the evening, take a walk through the native village of Jamespur. Experience local life, crafts, and cuisine while discovering the rich culture of the villagers. Conclude your day with tea and snacks, followed by a cultural program featuring Baul Folk songs. Dinner will be served at 9:00 PM.

 Wake up call at 7:00am.  Breakfast at 8:30am, After Breakfast checkout at hotel and proceed to Gosaba ,visit Hamilton Bungalow and Rabindranath  Tagore Bunglow .

After Early Lunch (Packed Lunch)  transfer back to Kolkata.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND DURING SUNDARBAN TOUR

  1. You have to keep Sun-glasses, hats and sun-screen lotion during your  Trip.
  2.   Wear light cotton dress preferably with colour Green, Ash, light Brown.
  3.   Tied shoes, preferably gumboots.
  4.  Medicines for cough, cold & fever etc.
  5.  Drink only Filtered water, Mineral water or Coconut water.
  6. Torch with spare batteries.
  7.  Spare batteries for your camera since recharging facilities are limited.
  8. Binoculars to view distant animals and landscapes.
  9.  Maintain silence when you are watching any animals during your Sundarban Trip.
